This makes any greens taste extraordinary. Since the garlic and dill can be quite intense, it’s best to eat it with a green such as spinach that can handle it. It can also be drizzled over hard boiled eggs, since dill goes exceptionally well with eggs.
Buttermilk and Dill Dressing
1/4 cup buttermilk (Or use yogurt and thin it down with milk)
1 tsp olive oil
1 garlic clove pressed or minced (either use a garlic crusher else chop clove finely)
1/2 tsp honey (agave will also work)
1/2 tsp dill (dried or fresh – in which case use 1 tbsp)
salt & pepper
You can either mix it with a fork, a whisk or shake it up a jar. It won’t last as long, due to the milk, as other dressings, so best to use what you make.
Foods to dress with it: Spinach salad with purple onion and sliced egg.
